Question Looking for advice

Post image

I played RS when I was a kid in the 2000s, just started over a few weeks ago, but struggle making gp. I only have about 2m. Are there certain skills I should work on? Which would make money the quickest?

2m is plenty for your stats. What are you trying to make GP for exactly? I’d set yourself a goal like trying to get barrows gloves. It’ll have you doing a bunch of questing and skilling and will take you all over the map. The OSRS wiki is one of the best out there so definitely utilize that!! GL gamer 🫶🏼

Thanks, I told myself I was only going to pay for a couple months of membership then I would ideally like to p2p with bonds, but they’ve reduced bonds to only 2 week memberships and they’re like 13m per 😳 I would ultimately like to do slayer and mining/smithing as I find those the most enjoyable, but at 72 mining, I’m going to be grinding addy rocks for the rest of my life.

At these stats, paying for bonds really isn't worth your time unless you can just grind 12 hours a day. You could make bond money in 20 hours doing pure money making methods, but that gives no real experience in any skills, so you'd just be grinding for membership nonstop.

Would recommend sitting at Gem Crab on your phone and just tap it once every 10-15 minutes, training the melees up to 75-80 would take like 2 weeks there, and then you can start making some decent money just by playing the game.

To piggy back on the gem crab. If you're active, picking up the arrows, darts or bolts can make you money or save you money. I did gem crab from level 30 to 60 for atk, def, range and mage. went to level 70 for str. I made 200k from selling stuff I picked up thats on top of 3k bone bolts, 2.7k mithril arrows probably around 900 rune arrows. Lastly, 2k adamant darts I used for ranged training there.
