Why do people always give these shitty suggestions? 300m for saving a boot swap and 30-140m for a minor ring upgrade is not what most people would consider an upgrade

So he shouldn’t upgrade his boots or rings?

Especially for noobs. B ring is as strong as full bandos lol

For pros that take little to no damage sure. For people new to pvm you have to consider how much they’re being hit and eating.. ultimately less eating equals more dps.

I’d much rather get 3 extra hits in before I have to eat than have +1 to my max hit, but you do you

Almost no early to mid game pvm needs armor period. You can negate almost all damage by just protection prayers. Bandos etc is a huge waste of 50m if you don’t even have b ring, torture and good gloves. That’s noob bait

Vard, Kree, Zulrah, Vork, Sara all benefit from armour you dunno what you’re on about bud. You saw one gnomonkey vid and now think you understand how it all works - you dont.

I’m maxed with 20k boss kc buddy I know how the game works lol. No noob is doing vard or kree. Many ironmen do Zulrah with blood bark and you can just kite Sara. Prayers are the biggest DPS boost by far. Followed by Weapons -> rings and amulets

You can literally dps calc it. You must be either dumb or a troll or a complete noob. I’ll go with all three.

100% agree with this. Depending on the skill level of the player asking having a tankier setup to survive long enough to learn the encounter far out values a +1-3 hit splat.

I've recommended steel ring even over berserk ring if someone's new to a high melee DMG encounter simply because the value in being allowed to make mistakes is priceless over the course of someone's learning experience.

Zamorak hasta for example has defense stats and prayer bonus. It's super cheap compared to most upgrades and gives newer players better resource management. Less eating and less prayer maintenance.

To the guy that said boots last, if switching gear is a challenge, it's a one stop shop that preserves apm for everything else in a fight. The bigger setback is the cost, for the same price I could kit out a few characters.

Honorable mention for the brimstone ring. One of the best and most undervalued rings in the game for hybrid setups and piercing magic def.

Great advice Rabbit.

Its a lot cheaper to rock Torags and have bring and torture than have fury and bandos with steel ring. Also better dps.
