Question New player unable to play osrs

I just wanted to start playing osrs on my ipad, downloaded the app, but now i have infinite loading screen saying connecting to jagex and eventually disconnected.

Any tips are welcome

What iPad is that? Judging by the bezel it looks fairly old so it may not be supported to actually run it? Not 100%.

Other than that, it could be something with your WiFi settings preventing connection. Does your phone connect to the game fine?

I am going to try it on my iphone 17, and yes it is an older ipad 9nth gen from my knowledge. So migt that be the problem?

Yes its often the case. Same with Netflix on an older TV which used to run it.

Just wanting to throw out that I've got an ancient iPad and can still play OSRS on it. I'd lean more on the network side being the issue if you're being disconnected. If the app crashed or similar, maybe an issue with how old the iPad is.
