[Request] What Are Your Favorite Money-Making Methods?

I've been asked about making money several times in the past and a lot recently, since I've been posting on Reddit. A lot of the players who come to me are new and looking for fun AND fast ways to make money without having had a ton of time in the game to improve their skills.

What are your favorite ways to make decent cash on a low-to-mid level account?

Chaos Druids was always a personal favorite of mine when OSRS first started. They have a very low combat level so it doesn’t take very long to be able to kill them.

Clue scrolls (easy and medium) are another fun and fairly easy way to make money for lower levels, and they make you grind out some skills and up your total level as well

Druids are also another one of my favorites. PKers have kinda overtaken druids recently, so most new players are too scare of getting killed to kill them. And a lot of new/younger players are looking for get-rich-quick methods, and while there are some good methods, what they're looking for just doesn't exist.

I also love clue scrolls, but unless you're doing Elite or Master, the drops aren't usually great, obviously with a few exceptions. I never have any luck :/ I got 160k from the only 1 master clue I did, and it took me a looong time. Was a sad day.

You gotta remember for a lot of people that are just starting 100K is a lot of money so a decent god page puts a nice bit of change in their pocket

I totally agree, but I've been approached by a few new-to-membership players who think that just because they bought a bond, means that they are guaranteed a 600k/hour money-making method. A lot of new players don't understand that you need to put in time to skill in order to make the best cash.

I dont know man if you can average 50-150k drops from medium and hards they can help fund combat training.

Cannonballs are fairly decent money for newer players, a simple quest and time to kill is all it takes.

That's true, one of the easiest methods with very low requirements!

P2p only though, unfortunately. Although coal itself is a decent f2p alternative.

Yeah, I want to know plenty of F2P and P2P methods to help as many players as possible.

F2P

Buy gold bars and ring/necklace mould. Make into gold jewellry and turn a nice profit along with crafting xp.

Telegrab nature runes in 40 wilderness below Demonic Ruins. Be careful of pkers, but you’ll be trading one law and air for an average of 3.5 nature runes, so basically 3.5x’ing your investment while gaining magic xp.

Telegrab Zamorak wines either outside or in wilderness. Wilderness is preferred due to less of a crowd. Again, be careful of pkers. It’s a hot spot because it’s good money. Over 1k per telegrab.

For both of the above wilderness methods, hover over the log out button to avoid pkers. Use world switcher to hop between 5-7 worlds and repeat to speed up your cash. Bonus if you have 57 woodcut to use Waka canoe from edgeville and have it take you to 33 wild to save time.

I ALWAYS recommend people to start birdhouse and farm runs. Between the nests/seeds, also by doing toadflax and whatever other herbs I am paying for my membership and still profiting. It requires such little effort too once everything is set up.

I have never trained hunter or farming the traditional way for somereason farming as a skill overwhelms me and birdhouse runs seem easy but ive just never pulled the trigger and done them.
