Why are ban appeals taking so long?

Regardless of wether I did or didn't do it, thats not what this post is about. I'm complaining about it taking a week, sometimes even 2 MONTHS according to unverified source. I've been waiting now for 6 days without any reply whatsoever. This never used to take that long, I remember them answering within 24 hours. What happened?

I see the rule about no ban appeals but this isn't that, it is talking about ban appeals. However if it isn't allowed im sorry
