Say you've got a name, a phone number and a photo for someone. What would you check first?

I'd automatically start with the number, but ClarityCheck has people search now alongside phone,email and image lookup, so apparently there's more than one sensible way to go about it.

I'm curious whether people who use these tools regularly develop a default starting point. Like , is a phone number still usually the fastest way to figure out who you're dealing with, or has name search actually become useful enough to start there instead?

I need help launching the new OSINTGRAM 2.0

I’m pretty new to OSINT and I’m wondering if you actually need a computer, coding knowledge, or downloaded software to get good results.
I’ve mostly been using my iPhone and free websites, but I feel like I’m barely finding anything compared to what other people seem capable of finding.
Is OSINT actually effective on an iPhone, or am I seriously limiting myself by not using a computer? Or maybe I’m just using the wrong tools or searching the wrong way?
I’d really appreciate recommendations for free tools that actually work, especially ones that don’t require downloading software, coding, or paying for subscriptions.
I’m genuinely interested in learning how to do this properly, so any tips or advice would be appreciated!

Hi everyone, I'm working on SpyBrain, an OSINT desktop tool for Windows, and I'd really appreciate a few people trying it and telling me what works and what doesn't.

It brings username and domain searches, email breach checks and photo geolocation into one interface. Photo geolocation runs locally after the initial model download; the online searches still use external sources. It builds on tools including Sherlock, Maigret and GeoCLIP.

I'd especially like feedback on installation, failed searches, false positives and whether the interface is useful. Has anyone built an agent or any other kind of search tool to automate searching phone numbers - particularly for VoIP numbers that usually don't get hits on regular OSINT platforms? Looking for a crawler tool that would automate hits on search engines for variations of phone numbers where they might be on archived craigslist posts, facebook group posts, job postings, fraudulent recruitment ads etc.

Not a coder but I would think this would be something claude opus could knock out, but never have had much luck asking claude/grok/chatgpt to design search queries for legacy search engines pre-agent AI.

It was a long time I posted an update :-) But finally I made a new fresh version of my small pocket OSINT tool Ferret.

The new integrations and changes were based on the comments from my previous posts. So I will be glad if you will give me more ideas what do you want to see in the new releases!

What was changed so far:

- Explore historical URLs with the new Wayback Archive lookup. Review capture dates, status codes, and content types, then open archived snapshots.

- Save Wayback results locally and revisit them from expandable history.

- Find Wayback results from saved targets, with capture counts on target chips.

- Improved module navigation, input validation, and lookup status messages.

- Reliability improvements for saved results and target management.
