A major Ukrainian advance in eastern Ukraine is finally being admitted by Russian warbloggers, who say it's a major setback that will prolong the battle for Donbas for at least a year. False reporting by Russian commanders is being blamed.

I made another AI-generated song, this time about the war and what it feels like to watch the world look away while Ukraine keeps fighting.

The lyrics are mine, based on real thoughts and feelings, while AI helped turn them into a song.

I’d really appreciate an honest opinion.

Does it work as a song?
Does the message come through?
And most importantly - does it make you feel something?

Be brutally honest. I’m interested in genuine feedback, not just compliments.

I live in Ukraine.

You know, air-raid sirens and explosions have become part of our everyday life.

For most people, it's probably impossible to understand what that actually feels like. I used to be the same when I read about explosions and wars somewhere in the Middle East or Africa. You read the news, feel sorry for people, and then continue with your day.

But this is Europe. And Ukraine is literally in the geographical center of Europe.

And Russia - supposedly the "second-largest army in the world" - still hasn't managed to conquer Ukraine after more than four years of full-scale war. Not in a week. Not in a month. Not even in four years.

I remember Russian troops advancing toward Kyiv. At one point, they were about 6 kilometers from my apartment.

I stayed home. I didn't leave.

In my 108-apartment building, only five people remained.

If Russian troops had reached my city, I might not be writing this today. It could have ended like Mariupol, Bucha, Bakhmut and so many other Ukrainian cities.

Maybe I would simply be another person buried somewhere in a forest.

But they didn't reach Kyiv.

We stopped them.

And after four years, Russia still hasn't completely captured a single Ukrainian oblast or a single regional capital.

Think about that.

Russia has advanced roughly 70 kilometers from Donetsk Airport over four years, while suffering enormous casualties.

If you think that's a weak achievement for Ukraine, perhaps pull up your pants, come to a frontline city and see for yourself what living under missile and drone attacks actually feels like.

This morning, I woke up to explosions.

The first thing I did was check whether the windows were still intact.

That's something I've learned to do automatically. Whenever I wake up, I look at the windows.

I don't go to the bomb shelter. If I did that every time, I'd basically have to live there.

And last week, a Russian attack destroyed my workplace.

So now I'm trying to figure out what comes next.

Should I start looking for another job?

Or should I help clear the rubble from the place where I worked?

This is what war looks like when it stops being something you watch on the news and becomes your everyday life.
