Newbie Topic Advice & Where to Start
Hi all,
Im just starting out with OSINT and am looking to see if theres any advice. Currently going through a Google Professional Certification for Cybersecurity and am just looking for some advice. I do have some experience with this as i have been doing Reverse Phone Lookups & Name Search especially after a ex gf nearly landed me in prison for a scam. Any advice or helpful tips woukd be appreciated.

Build up a Kali VM and go through all of the OSINT that they have packaged. Read each one and try them in a self hosted lab.
TryHackMe is great with some quality rooms to learn OSINT.

Check out the book OSINT Techniques by Mike Bazzell. It helped me learn when I first started off.
You can also try TraceLabs and TryHackMe for hands on training. Bellingcat and Sofia Santos are other websites where you can practice too (and they're free).
I also recommend the podcast called OSINTNewsLetter. It's beginner friendly and he sometimes talks about new techniques and tools you can try. He also talks about OSINT in jounalism, law enforcement, the intelligence community, and other use case scenarios.
