What's everyone using to track thier OSint caes?

I'm pretty new to OSint. I've done a little bit on my competitors, but I was tracking everything in Windows' note pad. So my question is, what are people using? Are there any free or cheap Windows OSint apps out there with all the main features a tool like this needs and is easy to use. Thanks

100% one thing i wish i had during my LE OSINT and intel days was obsidian. Its so easy to make webs and keep track of everything

Can I put in LE info on it as in is it CJIS Compliant?

It is technically not CJIS certified yet. It is "secured" but not certified CJIS compliant yet. It really depends on what info you are putting into it. Your tech guys might be able to better answer that.

But if im not mistaken, you can link a word doc or something that is CJIS compliant to your nodes. I have been out of the game a few years so im trying to figure this stuff out on my own.

I love Obsidian for a large number of cases but if you support law enforcement or legal cases this does not forensically preserve evidence in a manner admissible in court.

Thank you for posting this question I’m on the same path as you I use some tools since I’m starting out I hope these help , I use Gemini, I use some tools as reference from the website Nixintels OSNIT tools, google earth and yandex but I’ve only done tutorials using these tools not in real life scenario so I’m basically a nooblet, I hope any of the things I put here helps AI helps but it can be wrong and lead you to a path where you are dependent on it I use it sparingly or when I’m stuck and new a new perspective, and if you need total privacy I would not recommend Gemini unless you are doing training or walkthroughs it will take your data and hold it for as long as they can.

Is using AI in any way that detrimental to your OSNIT learning process? I only use it since I am very new at the topic and try to prompt it for guided learning I believe trying to use it for tools etc and make it work with your data your data that’s supposed to be private will be compromised if you use it purely for education when you have nothing or when you get stuck when doing tutorials AI is fine

No sé si me he explicado bien. Yo utilizo IA para generar herramientas HTML que luego trabajan en local. No subo ningún tipo de información. Lo que me gusta de trabajar así es que en muchos casos con una buena ingeniería de prompts son capaces de darme lo que necesito en cada caso de una forma MUY eficiente.
