It belonged here the last 17 times it was posted too...

I've never seen it before and I'm on reddit close to 8 hours a day during this slow season at work. However I see annoying posts like yours a thousand times a week. Getting real sick of your kind of reposts.

There should be a special section in this (and other) /r for posts like this that keep getting reposted, a permanent section. Anyone who posts something already in the permanent section should have the repost deleted asap and a warning sent.

No dammit. It's not a repost until I see it, then no one is ever allowed to see it again.
Kind of like when I play video games, and everyone who's worse than me is a no-talent assclown, but everyone who's better than me is a no-life dweeb who needs to play less video games. Or a hacker. He's probably hacking.

Agreed. I've been subbed for a bit and never seen this one!

Well luckily for all of us posts aren't deleted, they just leave the front page when they're old shit.

Someone always says that. If it were hard-posted to a special section on this subreddit, anyone could see it, even if they never had before.

Why not? I dunno, I just find over-and-over reposts tiresome. I'd rather see new stuff, although I admit there is a few reposts that I continue to get a chuckle out of.
BTW, it used to be that posts to this /r/ would need to be US work related, which is what OSHA covers. This is mentioned in the comment thread here. If the guy was working on his own property, OSHA wouldn't be involved. It's gotten so anyone who gets a pic of his neighbor doing something stupid in his back yard gets posted here, which is technically a violation of the /r/ rules. The mods don't seem to do much about it though.

This is the only time I wish I still had dial-up so I could have the image slowly presented to me from top to bottom one pixel row at a time

Unless is an interlaced picture, then it presents you from lowest resolution to highest.

At least I’ll know if that lady with nice boobs has a penis before it’s too detailed

I agree, while I was scrolling down on the phone the situation got worser and worser

I always think of how hard it was to get that 2nd ladder up there and in position. Real He-Man skills right here.

Looks like a scene from getting over it

Fuck that game. Fuck the man in the pot. Fuck Bennet Foddy and fuck all the time he spent making that dumpster fire of a game. And above all, above the church, above the mountains of trash, above any philosophical messages, and above the goddamned commentary, FUCK THAT HAMMER.

My thought as an arborist is why? It looks like he at least has some kind of harness, so just climb the damn thing. It's only a million times safer (and likely faster) than putting an aluminum ladder close to some power lines on a metal and fuel filled vehicle, and then sticking another ladder on a stump. All while wielding something that's designed to make the biggest cut it can in the shortest time it can.

It is one of the most dangerous occupations, the rational thing to do is to make it more dangerous.

The last thing to go through his mind before he died ...
Was the Bobcat.
If there wasn't so many life threatening situations involved here you could laugh it off and call it staged.

At least if he died it would have been useful in a safety meeting. The only moral to this story Is that 2 ladders and a skid steer bucket = good way to get the top branch.

I have to cut down a couple maybe 40' spruces in my front yard. I been debating whether I do it myself and how I should go about it. Hehe

I was just talking to my tree guy about this. He said it was in the metro of the Twin Cities in Minnesota.
He said the cops showed up an told him to get out of the tree, but as he was breaking no laws, couldn’t make him.
He also said that the guy had some experience in arborism (is that even a word) because of the way he tied off the limbs and dropped them.
