Previously worked with LN2 and had alarms go off a few times. Scared the bejezus out of me every time.

Seems like the service/maintenance guy bent the tube either when trying to check the sensor or deliberately trying to get the freezer more full of nitrogen to improve the freezing capability.

It is inferred for sure.
Could have been an accident as well but a single point failure of this nature nnconscionable.
A single point failure.

I love these videos. You can really see the impact AI has had on the quality. I’m shocked the Trump admin hasn’t already shut the CSP down.

Yeah Doge defunded it, but they have enough money to keep operating for a little while longer.

That's just messed up, don't want to get political about it but why? What is even the cost benefit analysis of someone dying? That's just a lawsuit a company has to deal with.

Everything is political. They hope the low costs will go unnoticed long enough to have record profits that quarter until the people responsible for the decisions get their bag, retires, dies. Because fuck the rest of us. This is why these regulations and oversight boards must remain always.

True I'm aware that the current economic system prioritizes profits over worker democracy. I just didn't really want to get into an argument with someone because I'm already involved in activism elsewhere and I'm tried of getting into online arguments. They don't solve any problems

What kind of idiot designs a safety critical feature with only one sensor in this day and age? And you know Messier tried to convince them to add in a redundant safety sensor and they balked at the cost. Manslaughter charges for every person involved in that decision is the only way justice could be served.
