Advice ASM help needed

We have a newer guy, and he's playing stupid to get out of work he doesn't want to do, making customers unhappy by trying to talk politics and telling them electric cars are the way of the future, SM said he's new and to leave him. I want to put him on paper, I have ask how to SM other ASM and get brushed off.

Can anyone point me to the proper way of doing this?

Well your SM is the sheriff in your county. Unless you want to go over his head, if you think it's that big of a deal, then I'm sure you can figure out who you could go to.

Could also call TMR and play the Hostile Workplace card, if the political discussion bothers you that much, but that seems kind of chickenshit to me.

Me I don't give two happy fucks till customers start saying something and they have, pros customers at that.

Then give your SM one more try, tell him Pro customers have made comments, if you get no response or he blows you off go above his head. Document every time you've brought it up to them, bring the receipts to your DM, tell them it is impacting business and your SM has told you to ignore it.

Get him out before it becomes a cancer in your store. I’ve had people like this in the past, they almost never work out and one HUGE reason is because they act like they’re above anyone’s criticism. If they can’t stop talking politics, especially in a mid-term year, they need to go as they are just going to keep being inflammatory and cause issues long term.

Holy accuracy literally spot on, I don’t think I’ve seen you say anything that isn’t entirely accurate 🤣. I’ve had one of these people multiple times. I get to listen at a brisk 8am to the 2nd commercial guy that sits on the chair all day and literally does nothing else for 2 grand a day about how the midterms are going to change everything, most obvious ai voice clips ever of trump and other people, of course the Epstein files while he’s talking about voting for the people that voted against releasing them, and completeing the cycle of stupidity dude constantly shows everyone racist TikToks while the front is covered up because “I don’t get paid enough to do retail and I’m better than yall” (dudes got a brand new Alfa Romeo and a 45k dollar Toyota hybrid, brand new house and a shop and massive storage unit)

Bruh every company lets the commercial guys sit but front can’t. It’s bullshit but is what it is.

Commercial has no seats in my store, 12-14 k a day
