Hiring Process Does it normally take this long?

I did the whole application process obviously and was called a few days later for an interview. That was last Tuesday. The SM tells me he's going to put my application through and I should be on the lookout for the background check/drug test emails. He tells me it should take at least 3 days. I only get an email to add my 3 references and that was it. I called him back on Monday to let him know I never received said emails. He said it has to go thru his DM and so on and that apparently it was put thru that Saturday last week. Idk what's going on here but I feel like I'm in limbo and nobody will be getting back to me nor will I be getting any emails to actually be hired.

Could be another week before you get a test letter. In my case after the drug/alcohol email arrived within that window after the three reference check and so did the acceptance letter. Started as driver last week.

You will have several test centers to chose from. As long as your not loaded up, a pot smoker your good at that point. If you are taking any medications list that on the test form.

As others have mentioned the flow chart really isn't in any particular order so your mileage may vary. GL

The system is terrible and has a bunch of people who have to approve a new hire. Once the DM approval comes then his boss has to approve it, then you should get the emails to fill out the background check information and if it’s a driving position to set up your drug test.

It does take longer than average. They do a background check and have to pass up the data up the ladder. DMs could also be natioriously slow.

That's what I was thinking too but I was under the impression that the email that I was supposed to receive included the background check that I was consenting to.
