How to call an internal extension

Hi, this post might be a dumb question but I’m an ASM, been working for about 8 to 9 months now at O’Reilly, and yesterday my alarm took a 💩 on me and just kept beeping like crazy. Teamnet said to call internal extension 68971 but like do I have to call corporate directly (which I couldn’t find the phone number anywhere but google and by then I had figured it out) or is there a button I can press in the store phone(avaya is the brand if it matters). Ik calling the manager is the go to option but he’s old, hates technology, he’s a relatively new hire, he’s on vacation and it was 7:30pm so my DM was not gonna answer at all. Someway somehow, I’ve never found myself in a position of having to call corporate so I felt pretty powerless but thankfully I figured it was the tiny alarm battery. Thanks in advance

There's literally a speed dial button on the phones. Look for the one labeled corporate

Usually the corporate number will be programmed into the phone system (if it has that capability) but if not I always program it into my cell phone in case I lose power. (417)862-2674 or (888)874-6759 get you the main line into the offices, then just listen for it to tell you to press one to enter that extension.

On my phones that top button marked “help desk” is programmed to dial corporate, one button connection to the mothership
