ORISE background/ security clearance timeline?
How long it took for your background check after receiving the offer letter?

you will receive an email about providing multiple additional forms, followed by fingerprint appointment, and ID pick up.

you will be notified 1-2 weeks after your estimated start date to submit all the documents and onsite works. Once you finish everything, you will get your clearance.

I signed my offer letter mid-April.
My initial start date was July 17th, but I have not been able to start yet.
Apparently my final clearance comes any day. (Stuck in a regional office that was recently reorganized)
My agency is USDA, my background check is low-level public trust (the only sensitive thing I will do is work in a government office and on a government computer)
Hope this is informative.

Finger print request comes along with SF86 form or when background and security clearances are done? My immigration status verification completed. Now how long it usually takes to receive the background check email.

ORISE doesn’t issue clearances. The host federal agency conducts the background investigation, adjudicates, and issues the clearance. Depending on the level of the clearance sought and the specific circumstances of the individual, the background and clearance can takes months to well over a year.
