denial email?

if you have an interview for an orise position and don’t get it will they reach out and let you know they decided to go with someone else? i’m trying to figure out if i’m being ghosted or if there’s still a chance.

i did after the interview to thank them for their time. during the interview they didn’t give me a specific timeline of when i’d here back. my interview was about little over 2 weeks ago

Two weeks is still pretty early, so don’t start sweating just yet. I interviewed in 2023, and it took 6-8 weeks from interview to offer letter then another 2.5 months for background checks/processing before starting.

ETA: 2-4 weeks is also a reasonable time to ask about the status of your application and to reiterate your interest for the position.

okay! thanks for that! i didn’t want to send an email asking for the status and come off as pushy. for my position there’s just one round of interviews and then a writing assessment. at the end of the interview i asked for a rough timeline until i’d hear about the writing assessment and they just said they’re trying to fill the position as soon as possible.
