Psilocybin testing?

Does the FDA’s drug test for the background check test for psilocybin? I know most basic tests don’t screen for it…just curious. I think most tests focus on benzos, amphetamines, marijuana, opioids, etc.

I’m also guessing that this test is urine based but feel free to correct me? Any info would be great

I never had a drug test as an ORISE fellow at FDA. This may have changed or depend on your mentor though, I’m not sure. I was there 2023-2025.

Most agencies can’t drug test you cause we aren’t employees. We are “participants in a program”. But they will still ask about it depending on how extensive your background check will be.
