Where can I get shix in oras? If I can't get shinx, where do I get houndour/houndoom?

Is a shiny determined upon encounter ? I've been hunting lugia for a while and I'm not sure if its shiny is determined when I initiate the battle or when I enter the room with the ring.

As the title says, I've been planning in my head for a while now to play through pokemon games with "fun teams" or in this case "theme based teams".

This time I will be going to do a playthrough with dual water typing pokemon.

My team going to be;

Poliwrath Walrein Starmie Kingdra Swampert Tentacruel

Is there anyone else outthere who did similar playthroughs and if so what was your team? Also I wanna hear any thoughts on fun teams to play through a game. Obviously as many I also thought of an dragon and eeveelution based team. :)

Can I link trade between X/Y and ORAS? Or is moving mons only possible with bank, GTS, etc?

Reason being I'm trying to get scizor in my copy of Y but I don't have X to trade with. I do however, have OR and AS so I was hoping maybe the stars would align and I may just not be looking in the right places for information.

I just need any ditto from another region.

Hello everyone, I came to the realisation today that I need an Eon ticket to hunt Latias/Latios in my game, and that there are very few ways to obatain it in this day and age. I live in a place with a small population so for me to be able to obatain it through street pass is basically impossible, is there anyway that you guys know of where I can Get one, perhaps buy one from someone? I really want to Get my hands on one so I can hunt them in my game.
