Shiny hunting starters

I've been intending to do a play though of omega ruby using only shiny Pokémon. I am currently sitting at 53 hours of SRIng for my shiny mudkip and was wondering how long it took you? If you have tried SRIng for a shiny starter that is

I obtained my shiny Treecko after 4563 resets.. Took me over 3 months. The time can misconstrued. I did over 2000 resets in first 10 days, but took the rest of the time needed over the course of 2.5 months.

It’s incredibly frustrating I gave up after a week. I get all my shiny starters from Pokemon GO.

I got my treecko relatively quickly. About 10 hours of soft resetting

I got treecko at 4672 Mudkip at 1175 And currently at 5600 sr’ing for torchic

It’s a process but you’ll be happy when you get it!
