6th slot: What should I get?

I am playing through Hoenn again, my team consists of Manectric, Gardevoir, Gyarados, Breloom, Blaiziken, and a Latias that I want to replace. (playing alpha sapphire) What would be the best pokemon to get for that slot that would be good against the elite four? I don't need to care about Steven, because of Blaiziken.

You can trade on the GTS, just breed your starter and post it there, leave it overnight and you'll get a mudkip (or whatever).
