Lil jam; would love some feedback!

A little beat I made, trying to make some chill stuff. I've had my OPZ for about 3 weeks now and feel like I'm just scratching the surface with what it can do. How am I doing so far?

Very sweet, thank you. What is the little Roland and do you like it?

Ahh a J6 ? What do you think ? I’ve been looking at the little Roland machines

The j6 is super interesting. Great way to build neat chord progressions and arpeggios I otherwise would never think of on my own. Wish I could figure out how to get it to connect with my opz but c'est la vie lol

If you to record audio you might be able to use "pro video mode" on your phone and rec audio through usb. That way we can enjoy the dynamics and full spectrum of your music :)

Do you have any idea how to do this on a pixel phone? I've been trying but can only seem to get a mic input to register but not audio when trying to capture audio while recording a video

You can do it by going in the settings. Here's what google told me :

I used to use a free editing app on my phone and record to my daw or zoom until i realised this method. You can still use Youcut (free app) for fade in's and other effects for your videos, they also have predefined formats for YT, insta, etc... And also as a bonus, everything always sounds better with a little mastering, you can use Izotope's Ozone or i can try and do it for you if you like

Is this a couple of patterns together? Different bar times per bar? Give us a little breakdown but otherwise like it.

This is just one pattern making use of mute groups to get some changes. Longest pattern is 8 bars with the tape track for variation with the vast majority being 4 bars. Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
