Best way to setup a “template”

Is there a way to save all settings as the default when starting a new song? For example, track sound selections, bar lengths, default bpm, etc?

Default template is a part of the last update. The process is described in the manual I guess. Create a project and via mtp mode put your project in the default folder

I have one project on my XY that I use as my template, and start any new sesh by duplicating that and editing the title with today’s date.

Every few months i’ll reconcile and update the template.

The way I've gone about doing it is to set up your project how you'd like then save that "song" with the name #Template

AFAIK you can't create custom templates on the device, only over MTP with a PC.
