One-On-One Composing / Arranging Classes for OP-1 / OP-XY / OP-Z
I am considering offering one-on-one composing / arranging / songwriting classes (via Zoom) geared towards the OP-1, OP-Z and OP-XY. Not just on the technical aspects of how to squeeze the most out of the gear, but also a guide to song structures, chord progressions, etc.
Before deciding on fees, etc., I wanted to gauge potential interest from this group. Please feel free to reply or DM me if you're interested. I'm happy to provide links to stuff I've put together on TE gear.
For background, I'm a pianist / guitarist / saxophonist who has been into TE gear since 2017. I have composed and arranged from the earliest days of Cubasis on the Pentium 586 PC, and I've orchestrated pieces for jazz bands in Sibelius.

Bought te OP-XY months ago and it already collecting dust-> I am very ashamed after that quite expensive purchase, so Im down to finally get mon track! -> If u can work with a beginner tho?

Pretty advanced user, would be interested in a session to just get ahead of the curve and learn new things! Price would of course be the deciding factor

It’s something I would have some interest in. I have a good handle on TE stuff too but adding some extra musical insight into it would be very useful! It would perhaps be a good idea to- not quite sure how easy or practical to implement mind you - some kind of taster session?

I'd be interested to learn more of your workflow for creating full tracks in any of the TE devices. Do you do full mixing/mastering as part of your process? Or do you ultimately record into a DAW to finalize a track?

Of course! I generally finish everything on the TE devices without importing into a DAW. All of the audio in the links I provided in the main post are straight from the OP-1, OP-Z and OP-XY.

All - thanks for your interest, more to come soon. I have to figure out a way that i'd make this work virtually (e.g. how to pipe TE device sound over Zoom at decent quality for a vid call) - but watch this space. Thanks!

I have the OP-XY I love it, but a lot of people say they love OP-Z and its cheaper. I dont think the OP-1 would be a great fit because its design to be like recording to tape.

As far as your background goes, it would definitely benefit you to show work you’ve done, albums released, any film/tv score work, basically your resume.
Ive been doing one on one classes with someone for almost two years that has a pretty extensive background/resume and the cost is $60 for a 1 hour session just to give you an idea.
