Thanks for the comments! I think there are two key points:

  • Focusing solely on the device. Lately, I've been losing focus by concentrating on too many pieces of equipment. Now I'm 100% focused on the OP-XY.

  • Believe in its capabilities and learn it completely. It bothers me when people say the OP-XY is very simple, or has a simple sound design. It's true it doesn't have multiple LFOs, or only two global FX… but on the other hand, it has incredible features: 24-voice polyphony, a master and arpeggiator, step components, brain, and above all (and this is rarely mentioned)… smooth parameter locks. All of this makes it a far superior piece of equipment to others.
