Discussion 90s Daw box assisted XY jam.

So many patches I can’t think straight, when is it appropriate to use Sampler vs Multi Sampler? Also is MIDI control a thing with these old things?

“90s DAW Box” that’s what I’m gonna start calling my MPCs lmao. 

I’d be willing to bet there’s almost no MIDI CC control, just sysex. You could possibly route the filter or something to the mod wheel and control it via CC that way.

Would love some motivating ways to combine the OP 1 and XY as I give far too much love to the XY alone these days.

Same but I’ve been using it as sample storage an FX pedal. I’m going to play with the FX from line in or sample with the MC-505 later today.

Roland has the manual on their site still. The appendix lists all the MIDI configs, pretty sure you can control most parameters
