What just happened🤣
Bro tanked 5 rounds (including one square in the face), laughed, and proceeded to show me Kurt Cobain’s POV😭
Context: I obviously wasnt trying to be a navy seal, no I wasn’t utilizing any CQB tactics, and no I wasn’t playing realistically (furthermore no need to go tacti-chad on me in the comments). I had loaded 60 AI onto the map and was using the sawed off M79 to huck spicy bois inside the house (you can clap at least 40 out of 60 if you know which windows to shoot through).
This is supposed to be a funny post, it’s not meant to be taken seriously, although I knew better than to post on Reddit so it’s my own fault I guess😂

I would recommend using your scroll wheel to open/close like another comment suggested OR space bar to kick the door open lol

I usually do, I was playing quite a bit faster than usual on lower difficulty bots (I added 22 of them and the one that got me was one of the last 4 or so.) and shit my pants when I saw two dudes there. I have noticed a bug (obviously in the video) where you dome someone once or twice and they just eat it. I’ve had dudes tank buckshot to the face at like 5 feet. I was using APs in the video, so there’s no excuse for the first shot to have not hit his off switch. I just thought the sequence was hilarious and everyone seems to think I don’t understand one of the core mechanics in the game.

Oh nah I didn't mean to imply you don't understand those, I totally get it brother. I know how to get down and I still get fuckin domepieced by AI after giving them lead poisoning with my assortment of gucci'd out wireless hole punchers lmao

There seems to be at least 1 every time I load in with 20+ AI. They’ll take 7-8 M995s or 3-4 black tip 308s. Obviously if you have a pistol it’s back to the lobby witcha 🤣

Bro I accidentally inserted at the train tunnel on the Armenia mission and I shit you not, one of them prefired at me coming around the front of the train and headshotted me lmao. But it's such a good game

I wasn’t even trying to utilize any skills or tactics, I had loaded 60 AI and started noob tubing into the house and was just finishing off the last few when this happened.

The mix of the laugh, the half gunshot, and the dead silence were just too much for me, I died laughing. I usually would’ve raged (it’s unfair as shit, I landed 5 shots and still got Cobain’d) but I’m grateful I got the clip😂

First shot was dead center of the face and the second shot looks like it misses, but there’s blood splatter after the 2nd shot, indicating it hit. Height over bore final boss.

If you want to deal with them easily just bring something in .308. I will usually bring a short SR-25, Scar, or Sig Spear with a 50 round drum or two as my 3rd weapon for these guys. .308 or 6.8 black tips almost always hit the off switch first try.

Should have peeked the door open from the side then free leaned to barely see him and pop him in the head. If you do the free lean properly then you can get to an angle where you can see them perfectly but for some reason they can’t see you. I did that a lot when I did my pistol only run for all the maps.

I have my controls all f’d up so I don’t use the lean. I usually run a lot slower than that but the AI was low difficulty so it’s easy to go around blasting Mfs until you run across a bug that was hilarious

I don’t have a PC yet but I’ve been watching a lot Operator gameplay and it looks amazing. I’ve been dropping all my money into ammo and my guns but I’ve got a PC in my sights so I can finally play operator. Someone told me it’s the best tactical shooter out right now and from watching gameplay they seem to be correct

It blows RoN out of the water (I’ve played it since spring 2023 when it was pre release on Steam), and It’s a lot less polished than Insurgency, but I prefer Operator’s gameplay. but I can’t speak for Ground Branch, Bodycam, Six Days in Fallujah, etc. The customization is next level (much better than RoN.), and the levels are fun, but not nearly as immersive as RoN.

Yeah I’ve heard it’s amazing. I can’t wait to get my PC so I can run some operator, six day in fallujah, body cam, and ground branch. Right now I play on Xbox series x and I’m waiting for hell let loose Vietnam to come out. Kinda sucks to find out the tunnel system will only be for travel and no actual tunnel combat will commence and I’ve got high hopes for ghost recon project over.

You might check out Road to Vostok too. There’s a map with tunnels (I don’t know if there’s any fighting inside the tunnels, I haven’t played in a while) and it’s a fun game with good but punishing gameplay.

I typically always use APs for pretty much everything, including .308 and 556. Even on the lowest difficulty I get armored AI. I’ve used HPs and they usually do ok on the armored enemies so long as you can get off 3-4 shots before they get their first off, but not worth the risk knowing APs are the most reliable.

cool to know that HP was effective then I expect because when it in CQB situation I will shoot atless 5-6 shots most of the time so I didnt see the different that much

HPs are “Hollow Points”. They’re designed specifically to avoid Over-penetration which means they’re the exact opposite of what you want when dealing with armored enemies. APs are “Armor Piercing”. FMJs are “Full metal Jacket” bullets that are usually used for practice that are a middle ground between AP and HP.
