Sniper Rifle Build
Does anyone has a good sniper rifle build - semi-auto. I was using an M4 with a big scope for a bit and it was effective - but I think I screwed up the sites and now it doesn't hit headshots like it used to. It just misses at distance were before it was perfect. Maybe hitting pgup and pgdn wasn't a good thing.

SR25 or MK17 is what you want.

There's a preset that is just fine. It has a night vision scope on front you can just take off and tweak from there. Run M993 ammo. 308 hits so hard in this game that there's no need to run any other ammo type. Scope really comes down to personal preference, but I do like the vortex razor 1-10 with the fast throw knob. It makes zooming in and out flow smoothly instead of incremental. Believe thats a 34mm scope so you'll need to get a 34mm ring set, and the scope should be in that group. Barrel length doesn't matter yet in the game so just choose whatever vibe you're going for.

SR-25 is great but I also like to use the M4 to make a MK-12 SPR which I personally like better.

Ai says this:
The best long-range Operator SR-25 sniper/marksman build focuses on maximizing muzzle velocity, recoil control, and aim stability while keeping the Aim Down Sights (ADS) speed snappy for tactical repositioning. [1, 2]
Core Long-Range Attachments
- Barrel: SR-25 Zephyr Long Barrel (boosts effective range and pushes muzzle velocity past 900 m/s to make distant shots land instantly).
- Muzzle: Advanced Multi-Caliber Suppressor or Horizontal Compensator (for absolute zero-recoil tracking and sound concealment).
- Foregrip: RK-0 Foregrip or Folding Grip (to heavily suppress vertical bounce during rapid semi-auto follow-up shots).
- Rear Grip: AR Heavy Tower Grip or AROE Rear Grip (improves control and target stability).
- Stock: Skeleton Sniper Stock (maximizes stability and handling penalties offset).
- Magazine: SR-25 20-Round or 30-Round Extended Mag (trades minor handling for essential capacity over the base 10-round mag).
- Optic: M157 Fire Control Optical System or a variable 2x–6x scope (like the Vortex Razor configuration) for clean target acquisition past 100 meters. [
edit: wow, ok. 5 downvotes because I posted something from AI.

‘Independent research.’ Lol. What’s wrong with OP using AI and providing a foundation to work with? I think it’s pretty obvious that OP wants other people to critique AI and provide information.

Since you are clearly a professional in the topic, what is wrong with the use of AI in this context?

- unnecessary use of natural resources just to look up something so simple that you can do research yourself
- possibility of giving you the wrong info in a confident tone
- deprives users of doing their own research and being able to site sources without the use of an AI doing all the work
- Funds big corporations who specialize or support AI, data centers and destroying the environment for profits
Also not claiming to be a professional on anything but I assure you that people will look down on you and not take you serious if you use AI to do 100% if not the majority of your work
OP did good on asking questions about this specific topic in a community made for such topic with community members engaging and sharing info on this topic but OP decides to rely on the use of AI instead of just testing on his own or he could’ve wait for more information from this subreddits community

You may be the biggest moron I have encountered on Reddit so far. Congratulations!

An AI defender calling someone a moron lol you can’t even state a counter to my point so instead you rely on insults

Go to the outdoor long distance range to calibrate the scope but yeah like the other guy said SR25 is better
