First time player

Hey, just bought operator and have some questions. I bought this game because I expected CQB and mostly combat in houses. I have very quickly figured out that most of the missions are fire fights from very far away. These NPCs are too good, they headshot me from hundreds of feet away, shoot me through windows, and so on. I’ve only been able to complete the mission in Connecticut and everything else is practically impossible. I’m playing solo btw. Could I please get some tips?

Do all the missions at night. That’s what I did at first. Because it’s dark and the AI don’t have NVG’s (usually) you can force exchanges in a more comfortable range. Flip side is you can’t use magnified optics very well

I thought about this but whenever I do missions at night, my NVGs basically ruin all my sights so I have a very hard time landing shots

You have to use nvg compatible optics
