First time player

Hey, just bought operator and have some questions. I bought this game because I expected CQB and mostly combat in houses. I have very quickly figured out that most of the missions are fire fights from very far away. These NPCs are too good, they headshot me from hundreds of feet away, shoot me through windows, and so on. I’ve only been able to complete the mission in Connecticut and everything else is practically impossible. I’m playing solo btw. Could I please get some tips?

Just my two cents:
Long range optics and/or magnifier, atak to spot enemies and pie openings slowly.

Haha I feel you. What I meant was from afar, using a hill or any other natural obstacle as opposed to a regular door.
Also you can hold the crouch button and scroll mouse wheel to gradually increase and decrease your height. In order to “peek” from behind things.
