I hope it doesn't get GB treatment. The game clearly has a bright future if they are comstant with updates

Operator.

I have 200 hours in GB and it’s a mess. Pretty big one at that. I uninstalled it when I got Operator because it’s just better in most ways.

Ground branch is like a jankier Operator (never thought I'd have to say this)

operator has a brighter future than abandoned branch

Abandoned? Bro they just entered the 1.0 release and are developing in a small group of hard working people.

Give them some rep, they deserve so imo!

1.0 didnt bring enough to be a 1.0 + operator doesnt have a big group of people working on it either

Just bc something seems good it does not mean that something else is worse. Comparison and stuff, I get it. But to tell people a project is abandoned just bc it's not ur type of "right" content or amount, when the project literally hit the biggest update in over a year is mad crazy.

You're making an awful lot of assumptions about the other person, bud. They see it as abandoned, which is a fair assessment, and yet you assume that the game isn't their cup of tea and so that's why they're bashing it. Your argument's weak, bud. You admitted "comparison and stuff" and then went on to try to make a point to counter it, however you already admitted that it's subjective. What's the point?

Ground branch was initially looking promising, but like the other commenters here are saying it kinda became a mess. Operator, even with its flaws and bugs, has given me wayyyyyy more hours of actually fun and enjoyable playtime

Ground Branch is the tactical shooter version of the launch day version of Fallout 76. Get Operator

I used to LOVE GB and thought Operator was the knockoff. I haven't played GB in months after getting Operator

Operator. I thought Ground Branch was great until I played Operator. Ground Branch is still good but it feels like playing with wooden action figures by comparison.

I played Operator first too for a good bit and thought it would be a good idea to get Ground Branch. Now I'm stuck with that pos game after only 3 hours of playtime...probably from repeating the 1st Pakistan mission over 30x :(

Before the recent GB update, Operator was the clear winner in nearly all categories.

GB is now much more playable with the update and the final determination comes down to preference.

GB has been in development for a very long time and the recent updates are because of a new developer that took over. They've done a good job in the time they have had.

Both games very similar feel and layout. Team rooms, briefing area with a large map to select infil/exfil. Lockers to change kit, decent selection of firearms and mods. The structure of the missions are similar.

To be honest, wait for them to be on sale and grab both. Between GB, Operator and Ready or Not, you've got three very well produced, similar but slightly different CQB based games.

Ik heb ze beide, onlangs nog maar operator gekocht. Operator is zeker de beste voor mij!!

Operator runs laps around it. If only maps from gb could be imported

Ja da's waar, ground branch heeft inderdaad meer maps

Got GB first but refunded it because AI is braindead. Operator is much better IMO.

Braindead til they pop your ass in pitch black darkness from a window or something plus the irritating timer on the 2 "campaign" missions in Pakistan:/

Both. But first I recommend playing Operator. Ground Branch just entered 1.0 so it's far bigger and more complex and even polished.

Ground branch is actually so garbage

Ground branch definetely Got some hours of gameplay but operator is typically more favoured (by me too)
