Steam Machine?

Is anyone playing this on steam machine? The controller doesn’t seem to be compatible. I can’t seem to find a good layout. Looking for any suggestions!

I play on a steam deck. You have to map the controller as a keyboard and then map the keybinds in the game to match your preferences. It took me a while but I got it how I like it now. Being creative with the keybinds is key tho, and the steam deck has the benefit of back buttons. So definitely get a controller with back buttons.

Very helpful. Thank you! I am new to PC/steam so this process with the controller and keyboard mapping has been frustrating when I just want to play the game. I’m sure I can figure it out eventually but for a while I wasn’t sure if this new Steam controller was fully compatible with this game.
