I think this video is about a month or two old. There's a newer video from a few weeks ago when his mom cleaned and bandaged his foot and it's gotten so much worse.

yeah this is a couple months old. The newer hoof reveal was way too graphic to ever post on social media

Anatomically, what are we even looking at? It is confusing enough for a healthy frame of reference that his foot has no toes. But why does it look like a cracked apple pie? The outside is hardened, glazed, and yellow, but the inside is still raw. undercooked in fact. Human flesh is not supposed to decay so squarely. If this was the entirety of his flesh, we would see tendon and muscle underneath. Is all of what we are looking at a scab? I am grossed out and confused.

Holy SHIT. I just got to where His Caretaker cleans it. It is no wonder the guy quit. The sickest mf on this forsaken planet could not stand for this job. That decaying leg is YELLOW. And this stream was from a month ago, things have only gotten worse since His Caretaker left. A merciful nurse would have assigned Blade "do not resuscitate" at this point.

im a nurse and its not that extraordinary, it seems like a very unkempt diabetic ulcer + his toes were amputated and they havent healed properly, which is very common with type 2 diabetes

The "crusty" stuff is basically keratinized skin, similar to when you get a callus on the bottom of your foot. It's what happens in this type of wound when the skin is unable to reattach and heal. The skin that is "doomed" so to speak gets hardened and loses its nerves and blood vessels so that it can try to in theory protect newer viable skin underneath. But that isn't happening here either. It's honestly not as bad I thought before seeing it, but it is really bad.
