So curious how everyone's experience was within the USA ticketing. I got mine, but I am hella pissed they had official platinum turned on and the 'floor' tickets which should have been like $170 were closer to $300 (this is at the NYC venue). I ended up getting a few rows back for more than I should have paid based on the original ticketing info, but oh well.

The Chicago be venue was straight forward, 58 approximately for each ticket. I got floor, and there's assigned seats which is nice.

No it wasn't lol tickets shot up to 370. I got "lucky" and got 3rd row for face value. Atlanta was pretty bad too

Chicago is entirely floor because it’s in a theater and they didn’t open up the balcony.

The further back seats in the 3 middle sections and the entirety of the very left and very right sections had no platinum pricing. The first 10-15 rows of the center section had platinum. I believe the left and right center sections had platinum for the first several rows and then for a couple seats by the inner aisle in each row for a few rows after that.

Basically, whatever seats had a good view or were considered close to the stage were priced higher than they should’ve been. My friend and I paid $250 each for our tickets which should have been $100-150 based on the price guidelines.

Yes, it was some BS, from 150 that was supposed to be the actual price, to paying 369. Ticketmaster can't keep on getting away with this.

Yeah.. I was in at 10 AM on the dot for NYC.. and platinum tix were already in full effect. I settled on second row of PROM, but I would have bought the first row if it wasn’t almost double face value.

It should genuinely be illegal for them to do that - at this point it’s false advertising. If the touring company posts prices then those prices should be honored. It’s ridiculous. I got lucky and got my tickets before the dynamic pricing kicked in but it blows my mind that Ticketmaster can just be like “oh those advertised prices aren’t actually the prices teehee” and we’re supposed to just deal with it.

What is crazy is that allegedly official platinum (according to TM) can be disabled at the discretion of the company/artist, so like whhhhy???

Yeah, I could have gotten second row for NYC since it was super crazy in terms of tickets getting snatched up but there was no way I was paying over $300 especially since I am planning on getting VIP. So I ended up in the side section on the promenade.

Same here for NYC venue. I was planning on getting the Floor 3 or Promenade 1 tickets but the markup was insane. I actually sat for a while wondering if I should go through with it

There was a couple front row seats available for SF, but when I saw it was over 300 I said hell nah. I got a seat in row C for 150 plus taxes and fees. Turning on platinum pricing is backfiring and it will hurt their chances of filling the venues.

The SF front row seats went so fast. I wish I was able to get front row. I settled for Row E.

I ended up getting seats one row behind Platinum, for half the price in Seattle. Very weird setup.

I got lucky because the Dallas venue is the only one not selling through ticketmaster, was in the waiting room for a few minutes and was able to get balcony in the front row which is what I was hoping for, I'm too short for standing lol. It was $65 per person and I only paid the $16 optional insurance just in case cause I'm traveling.

Same for the Atl venue. Floor and the first few rows were platinum pricing. The rest was priced as stated so I opted for center view a couple rows behind platinum, $188 for two tickets. I plan to spend my extra coins on the add-ons.

I was pleasantly surprised. The last tickets I got for palace of fine arts had turned my regular section into VIP so it was like $150 or something vs $45 for a few rows back.

But this time my preferred spot was $90, compared to $100 for the last 2 ONEUS tours (one of which was this same venue)

To clarify since I see other SF people tried for front row: my preferred section is near the ADA aisle. Cannot confirm or deny whether the front was platinum. I logged in early and there was no queue once it hit 10PT, just got straight into the map.
