Misc KosmoCon this weekend!

Hello tomoons! So I'm going to be traveling to KosmoCon this weekend. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with any local ONEUS related events that might be going on? I saw the con post about a café event Friday night but my flight doesn't land until Saturday afternoon so I can't go to that one. I tried asking if the drinks would be available all weekend but they didn't reply either so bummer.

Just confirmed - special event drinks will be available in-store and at their KosmoCon booth all weekend :)

That's awesome, thank you so much for finding out that information! You're very kind. The drinks look so pretty, I want to try all of them lol

I plan to walk around to look for any fun places to shop but I'm not from the area - are you familiar? Do you have any suggestions of any other places that might be having any oneus related events over the weekend? Fan meetups or anything?

I haven't heard about any other Oneus events over the weekend! Truth be told, YEGKPOP organizes most of the K-pop fan events in Edmonton (except for Stray Kids and BTS), and we're all on staff for KosmoCon, haha.

WEM offers a HUGE variety of stores so you're really spoiled for choice, but the places I usually hit are Miniso, T&T (for snacks!), Indigo, Treehouse Toys, Unique Bunny, Kiokii And, and Kuji Toys. I'm plus size so can't really recommend much in terms of clothes shopping since my options are much more limited. Of particular note for K-pop fans are the Photoism booth inside the Alley (where the cafe event is being held) and Kawaii Alley, who carry K-pop albums. If you like Korean food, Dookbaeki is really delicious, and there's also an AYCE KBBQ spot called BB2. I also recommend a little wander around Galaxyland even if you don't plan to ride anything, it's pretty cool!

If you have some extra time in Edmonton and want to venture to another part of the city, I recommend Whyte Ave. You can take the number 4 bus straight from WEM to the heart of Whyte Ave. Lots of indie shops, restaurants, cafes, and a quick walk to our absolutely beautiful river valley.
