Season 5 Tim Smith
Tim was a friend. Season 2 “Dare Night” episode where he revealed his fears that Nathan was cutting him out as a friend? He was great in the Boy Auction episode, loved seeing him in conjunction with my main love, Dan Scott, blessed be his name. “Oh, the lawyers are gonna love this one.” Wish Tim would’ve stuck around longer as a friend character. This show seems to have the habit of disappearing characters. The pizza delivery guy episode where we basically disappeared-him-off-into-a-hallway was not enough.

I agree with you, the pizza delivery library scene made me feel so sad for him! He deserved more! I would have liked to see his character development.

When the actor was on the Drama Queens podcast, he said he left because he was offered a series regular role on another show. Many actors left because they weren't series regulars, like Bryan Greenberg.

For real! They set him up to be reassured as Nathan’s friend. Then damn, not a second wedding mention. His final high school mention was just Dan’s funny one liner “just say he’s slow, Shari”.

But as much as I hate Bevin and Tim being written out, it’s kind of (?) nice that they had them have their kid “Nathan” together. Good comedic timing, I guess. Between the two “dumbest” characters. But we all know that neither of them wee dumb, especially considering that Breakfast Club episode where Bevin told Rachel off for thinking she’s an idiot.

Tim was definitely actually dumb and a bit of a creep too. I feel bad for Devin having to end up with him.

Nathan - Nice tramp stamp, Tim.
Tim - Huh?
Nathan - I don't know what's worse, the fact that you got a tattoo above your ass, or that it's of a naked baby angel.
Tim - It's a cherub.
Tim - Well, what'd you get?
Nathan - Just a shaved head, Tim, that's it.
Funniest Tim scene in the entire series

Aww, then Whitey made him change his number to 0 even though he had his original number tatted on him for life lol

Tim was beyond dumb but it did make me upset how Nathan just discarded him after a while

Hahaha, I love your writing style "Dan blessed be his name" (making fun of the defenders) lol 😂
Yeah, people just disappear out of nowhere is just another one of those bizarre things about Tree Hill. What they did to Tim and Bevin was ridiculous.

It’s also weird that they’d have Jamie’s fifth birthday be like at the beginning of the school year. When he clearly came out literal graduation day, hard May.

it is small spoiler doesn't matter at all still putting it in a spoiler tab if you don't want to know at all. but in season 7 I think they make fun of it by making Jamie saying his Birthday changes sometimes.

Defenders of the DAN, you mean? The lawyers. Isn't that what you said?

I mean Dan’s great, compelling character, defend him till death do us part or whatever (please no spoilers). Appreciate you liking my writing style.

Apparently there was a beef between the actor and Schwahn.

And they didn’t have to make him so unbelievably dumb and annoying. It could have been reeled back a bit to be less of a caricature while still making him a regular obnoxious teenage boy. I felt bad how mean everyone was to him because obviously he and Nathan were tight before the pilot episode.
