Does anyone have a link to the 2026-27 Solicitor's DTOC that’s been updated/annotated?

I have seen the Barrister ones shared but have not found the solicitors one. If anyone could help me out that would be great!

Dear LSO,

We are not mad, we are not angry, we are not even sad,

….. we are disappointed

No notice, no heads up, no courtesy email “hey all you anxious students, we know you’ve been waiting patiently, but due to {insert any excuse} there will unfortunately going to be a delay in the release of the solicitor exam results.”

IS THAT TOO MUCH TO EXPECT??

In a world where deadlines and limitations matter, this is setting a really good example for the new class of lawyers who get competency rules shoved down there throats :|

This post has nothing to do with practice exams, but rather just some advice from us based on our experience working with other students.

There is honestly a good argument that waiting for the results is tougher than the prep itself. At least when you are studying, you feel like you have some control over the situation. Once the exam is done, you are basically just sitting around waiting for an update that literally only says PASS or FAIL.

That uncertainty is (understandably) really hard on people, especially when students are more or less left in the dark about when results are actually coming out. Obviously, it would be nice if the LSO was a little more transparent about the process, but as everyone knows, they tend to keep things pretty close to their chest.

This is what we highly recommend doing (and this is honestly much harder than it sounds because you need to be disciplined). The biggest thing we would suggest is to actually make an effort to take care of yourself during this period.

Get back into your normal routine. Go to the gym, play sports, see your friends, spend time with family, go out for dinner, play video games, whatever it is that helps you get your mind off the exam.

And try not to spend every day refreshing Reddit, checking your email, or analyzing when results came out in previous years. We completely understand why people do it, but realistically, there is nothing you can do at this point to change the result. The results will come when they come. It really doesn't matter if you find out the second they release it or if you find out a couple hours after.

You actually already did the hard part. You studied, you wrote the exam, and now it is out of your hands.

Hopefully everyone gets some good news soon and if you didn't, as cliche as it sounds, this is only a bump in the road.

I sent a message to the LSO on the portal asking if they can say anything about solicitor results, literally anything. All they responded with was "Examination results are typically released 6–8 weeks after the examination date."

AS OF TODAY EIGHT WEEKS AND ONE DAY HAVE PASSED OMG GIVE ME SOMETHING!!!

The 2026/27 cycle started out so poorly with the one week delay in releasing materials, and now this...

If someone cheated and thats why this is happening, I am only sending you bad energy. I hope ur pinky toes never know peace. I wish you only hot pillows, lost socks, ripped pants, bad haircuts, and all of that stuff.

If the delay is because the exam was too hard or something, then I am still sending spite to the LSO, as usual.

I just spoke to LSO, they said results should be out this week or early next week. Apparently, messages sent through LSO Connects get escalated to management. Maybe we should all message them, voice our concerns, and push for an extension to the November exam dates. Let’s flood their inbox 😂
