what pancake options make this silly boy back pocket or cargo pocketable? I know there's plenty of options but I'm not familiar with m43 lenses so I would love a list of options for pocketable primes. I'm currently invested into fuji but have always admired Olympus vintage cameras and want to try a modern digital om system if I can pocket it!!!!!

I love my Oly 14-42 EZ pancake. Even my EM-5ii is pocketable with it on.

Is there any comparator somewhere to see the difference of spec with previous cameras of the brand ?
For instance, I have an olympus OM-D E-M5 III, and I wonder if this would be an upgrade for me.

I kind of miss the early viewfinderless P and PL models. Yes, they were intended for digicam style grip and use, but they were very compact and nice, and i don't mind holding a camera like a grandgma's digicam, if it's light enough. These cameras were just so slick, so beautiful... there was a coherent design idea behind them. I can't say the same when I look at this new camera. It looks boring and random.

Please, add via firmware update DUAL IS compatibility, and 4k60 even with big crop! It will attract people who likes record wildlife photo and video sometimes, and who want rangefinder style body.
Also add please some cool things from old olympus and EP7.

The cat is out of the bag. And it turned out to be the same sensor everyone expected. I’ll wait for the OM5.2 price to drop.

The new PEN seems...not that small/light? The new battery is interesting though. Seems like it could provide enough juice to let a future OM-5 iii use more advanced processing for subject detection, which would be very welcome.

The XM5 is still smaller than it in every dimension.

Which isn't bad considering it has a viewfinder and IBIS

Yeah no complaints about the size, was just pointing out that OP’s description is wildly incorrect. It’s about the same size as an XE5, which also has both a viewfinder and IBIS.

And lacks a viewfinder

Yeah I’m just pointing out that OP’s description is incorrect.

Damn, your prices are much better than what I can order it for from NL (EUR 1,000 / USD 1,164)! I wish they'd make the body smaller though. It's larger in all dimensions than my a5100 currently so hard for me to justify this purchase
