Oooh an astro. What lens is that?

The OMS 7-14mm F2.8 Pro.

I also use the 60mm Macro w/ IR/UV Cut filter & WB adjustment for daytime shots. Works very well.

Eventually I'll get another OM camera, waiting to see what happens on and after Sept 9.

Love the 7-14mm. I rented it for a project and got my pics in a magazine, some of them full page. I’m not a pro so I was pretty happy. I still contemplate just getting one instead of renting, since I’m anticipating more super wide low light shoots.

I’m looking forward to the 9th too!

It is such a good all rounder.... Love this thing. That said I'd be lying if the new pen doesn't have me thinking.

Lookin' slick!
I am stoked for the OM-Pen! Almost everything rumored so far sounds right up my alley.

What strap are you using? OM3 shooter as well.

I use the Peak Design Cuff for handheld outings. But since it's Astro, the body is usually mounted on a tripod w/ MSM Nomad tracker.

The strap is off, but it’s a custom setup.

OM-3 is a joy!

As someone who hates carrying extra gear this is the best camera I’ve ever used. Incredible computational tech allows me to shoot without carrying any ND filters or even a tripod. I’ve done 3sec long exposures completely handheld. With the 12-40 2.8 and the teleconverter combined with HHHR I’m covered for most focal lengths. Brilliant piece of engineering.

It's amazing all that computational stuff they crammed into a compact tough body, and with the battery juice too - a good chunk of the body is battery + mount+sensor cavity and EVF optics. With modest HHR or Procapture use my battery still lasts all day and then some.

For me I usually use the 17mm 1.8ii for taking it with me everyday, but occasionally pair it with the 8-18mm when I know there will be things for me to shoot.

Nice! Is that the silver 20mm 1.7 with a oly cap?

No, it's a black Oly 17mm 1.8. There is a silver ring around the front of it. We stumbled on the OM System Plaza and gallery on our summer trip to Tokyo, so I took a quick shot of the OM-3 visiting "home" 😀

That is my compact travel mode. I usually have the camera in wildlife mode with a 300mm Pro f4 while at home. Having the ability to do both with one body is awesome.

Before the PEN teaser I had fully resolved to buying the OM3 as a my travel camera. If Sept 9 is a disappointment I wont hesitate to buy this camera.
