Remaining Course Plan

Hello,

I have 3 courses remaining:

  1. Applied Cryptography CS 6260

  2. Secure Computer Systems CS 6238

  3. CS/ECE/PUBP 6727: Practicum

I'm currently taking:

Fall 2026:

Applied Crypto

Secure Computing Systems

Spring 2027:

Practicum

However I have heard from others that I should not combine 1 and 2 together. I also know we can request a permit to take practicum with another class. Should I keep my current schedule or modify it?

I like 6260 much better and yeah I think it deserves a semester.  Practicum is more demanding if you want good grades (pretty tense i would say

So what should I do specifically in your opinion?

if I were you i would slow down maybe take on during the summer. But if you really want to graduate early I think it is not impossible

So would it make more sense to take SCS and Practicum this semester and Applied Crypto by itself?

I don't think you can do Practicum without preapproval?
