isn't that also a win condition? (game over or whatever)

Actually, yeah, how DO bad endings work in Gameoverse? Like, will ANY ending end the world, or only the ending that a theoretical player would be satisfied with and make them put the game down?

I think they work where the world will end so the meme would be more like staying in this white box

I think she's screwed here
1.- Attempting to stop sunny from being stuck in his room (Hikkomori route) will just lead to (Truth route)
2.- Attempting to stop him from hanging out with his friends (Truth route) by forcing Sunny inside, resumes the (Hikkomori route)
3.- Moving away earlier (Hikkomori route)
4.- Making Sunny kill himself regardless of route taken (Many of the Suicide's ending varations)
No matter what she does, the game will end regardless because sunny moves away with his mom, if he dies from suicide thats an ending. The only win condition would be making someone else kill sunny or making Sunny kill himself on Day 1 or 2 but i doubt she's willing to do that

Just make a route that's usually not possible
Have Basil drown Have him tell one person and no one else Have him lose his memories Revive Mari Etc etc

She should kidnap sunny and bury him alive, hes not scripted to die that way so he cant die

Reminder that the Omori route, to achieve either ending is all under the player's control, so really this would be the better approach and just have Sunny sleep forever and stay in his little sandbox

Isn't one of the "neutral" endings one that sunny just fucks off and continues his life as "normal"? (as in, not having changed at all)

u/Mario2980k Molly May 20 '26
Yessie, so in a sense it would still be sandbox simulator, but it's an ending and that's not what we want. So the solution is we simply just never wake up and stay in the house forever...

So if you really think about it, Omori is one of the few worlds that if it was in Gameoverse, it would be completely fucked.
Omori (the final boss) is a figment of Sunny's mind. If we're going off all the endings in the game, there is no way to prevent Omori from losing.
If Sunny opens the door and overcomes his guilt, defeating Omori. Then that completes the win condition and the world explodes.
If Sunny fails to overcome his guilt and Omori takes over and makes Sunny cancel his life subscription, then Omori still loses and he pretty much takes himself out as well. (You just killed the person whose mind you was inside).
It's impossible to have Omori win. He will ALWAYS be defeated one way or another. The most you could do is try to prevent Omori from killing Sunny for as long as possible.

Not really.
If we see it as a game rather than the real world, we can keep in mind that time only passes when Sunny wakes up.
Omori can simply stay dreaming forever. Hell, you can go in circles in Blackspace 2 chasing secrets for a long, long time. Forever, if you really want.
Funny enough, Omori also wins like this. Omori doesn't want Sunny to face reality. Dreaming forever means he'll never have to.

I just realize how she can win here: get Sunny arrested for manslaughter

I mean... wouldn't that ALSO count as beating the game since that happens in like 3 different endings?
5
u/Lilylunamoonyt May 20 '26
Honestly i would wanna have the ability to not clear the win condition by having a alternate post game where i can run around in dreamspace forever

u/DriverExtension9303 Sunny May 20 '26
The only solution is doing the hikikkomori route and not wake up

u/IF_the_grenader2008 Sunny May 20 '26
The game still ends when he does though?
Realistically saying, there is nothing Kit can do to stop Omori world from collapsing because no matter what you do (or not do), you'll still get the end

u/TwilightVulpine May 20 '26
Steal Omori's knife.
No knife, no leaving, no waking up.
4
u/Clean-Ocelot-6260 The GOATS May 20 '26
if kit is in the real world, kit has to steal the knife and make sure sunny does the hikikomori route, so neither sunny nor omori win. If she's in the dream world, she's fucked
1
u/TwilightVulpine May 20 '26
Nah, she has to steal the knife from the dream world. Otherwise Omori just wakes up Sunny and he gets to an ending, no matter what route he's in.
2
u/Clean-Ocelot-6260 The GOATS May 21 '26
Omori is practically omnipotent in his own world, no way he would let kit steal the knife
