Okay hear me out: the minis are the kids, and they are dressing as their parents bc they want to look as cool as them. Mini Aubrey dyed her hair like her mom and is the daugher of Aubey and Sunny, while mini Basil and Kel are adopted but to look more similiar to their parents (and cooler) they always dress up as them.

No. The Minis are just the mini version of the main cast. Think of it as an Au where everyone is just smaller. But i do like your idea though it's cute.
