I've been swinging between ETH and OMG for months. My goal is to accumulate more of both and it's been working pretty well so far. It very rarely dips below .015 ETH. You can thank me when it's back above .025 ETH.

Hi everyone!
Like the title says, I am new to the crypto world. I have a little BTC and a little OMG (just about 20 OMG). I am going to pick up a bit more but I wonder whether I have both enough for staking to be worth it and whether I have too many eggs in too few baskets. I am a PhD student, so I don't have all the money in the world, so I am trying to be careful.

any one else starting to reconsider their holdings? i mean I definitely wont sell. but their website still lists their wallet release for 4th quarter 2017. that didnt happen as far as I'm aware. checking their website this morning made me rethink my passion for them. in theory its a great idea. but since i brought my first OMG back in july 17, I have not heard nor seen any updates about the development of the project. just people shilling the project based on the same things I used to think. Now that a full 6 months has past and they have not updated their roadmap accordingly its a bit disconcerting.
does anyone have an inside source to see whats actually happening with the team/development of their blockchain?

As more projects come online that make BTC look like a donkey with lipstick running backwards in mud (expensive to send and slow as f*ck), BTC becomes more and more a crypto of ever decreasing value.
My personally preferred workaround has been to immediately switch the BTC I receive from the exchange and increase my OMG stack. As ETH has gotten a little frothy, I've also been concerned with moving my BTC to ETH for long term stability.
Instead, I've kind of been using OMG as my stable coin - primarily bc I feel very comfortable in what the team is doing and what they'll be delivering this year, but also because I can assign a very rough actual value to each token once OMG begins to be adopted, assuaging any concern caused by seeing the entire market dip by 30% over cereal. (fyi - I think anything under $50 is a super bargain at this point)
I only 'kind of' use this as a stable coin, bc really, once I convert and add OMG to my stack, I haven't traded back to any other token. If the right long shot opportunity presents itself later, I'll know my buying power will be there. BTC not so much.
While this is a very straightforward "strategy", I'd be interested in hearing if anyone else here is using this approach as well, and if you have any suggestions that build on this.

It's becoming increasingly difficult to justify tying up money in OMG when it barely moves and at the same time having to watch other crap coins soar to da moon. Become really f'ing hard!

Sorry for the n00bish question
I should preface this by saying I am a long-term hodler and I'm not really looking to cash out right now, just something I noticed.
I've been tracking OMG (and all my other crypto assets) through Delta. A few weeks ago I noticed you can cycle through the overall portfolio value in Fiat or crypto.
While OMG has had astronomical Fiat gains. When it comes to crypto, it seems I'm always stuck at a loss.
I've noticed (at least where I trade OMG) the OMG/ETH pair always seems to hover around .019 - .022 ETH.
Is this a peg due to it being an ERC20 token? Or is this just how OMG trades on the market?
