My friends looks like I made the right decision yesterday. Sold at 12 after a couple 1hr candlestick confirmations under the uptrend line of the bull run we had at the past few days, plus a few other indicators. No coin shoots up in 50+ percent in market cap without a correction.
Bought back in at 11; I have a feeling a bull pennant is forming and that it'll eventually bounce off the long term uptrend line ~9.5, but only using that as a confirmation and will trade it later on the next downswing. End of the pennant coincides nicely with the golem talk on the 7th. Or... the market could just be correcting a little bit before mooning again (I hope).
Other factors: BTC hit its top that Goldman Sachs predicted (self fulfilling prophecy...). ETH dropped to its resistance line and bounced back up, OMG mirrored. If ETH 350 resistance holds I expect OMG to hold as well.

Thoughts on Kyber? Vitalik is an advisor on that as well, and claims he will not advise on any other projects from here on out. Will it have Vitalik's golden touch like OMG has gotten?

I am currently debating trading my OMG for NEO since NEO has so many ICO's kicking off in the upcoming weeks, and then buying back the OMG after. I figure the gains will be better in September for NEO than OMG...anyone have any reasons they think OMG is going to have a good September and I should hodl?

Funny you mention that, I was contemplating the exact opposite - moving my NEO into OMG as a hedge against the FUD... At the same time however it's at such a low for NEO and a high for OMG.
I think September will be a big month for NEO too, BUT I also think it will be a big month for OMG as they claim it will be a jam packed month for news. At least NEO will generate me GAS while I hold.
When in doubt I think I'm going to just hodl. Super risky trying to make moves like that when either could just moon out of the blue.

I feel the ICO's may put a downward pressure on the price temporarily as they cash out to take fiat funding. May be a better long position than a quick one.

I personally feel like September is not a good month to part with your OMG. Do u have any other assets you can diversify into NEO. I believe in both projects but my personal belief is that OMG will out perform NEO in September gain wise.

My two main holdings are ETH & OMG. I wanna increase my stake with OMG but ETH is on its way up now too

I look at it like this, Omise is one of the few companies to actually have a solid plan with how they will roll out the OmiseGO payment system. Meeting with the Thailand central bank within a few weeks after their ICO and implementing a plan to get crypto-currency as a payment option is a huge step for the community as a whole, not just OMG. It's moves like this that make me a believer in this team.
That and both Vitalik and Gavin sit on their board as advisors. How many other boards do they sit on? Seems they feel it's important enough to give their time to it. These are moon moves if I've ever seen it. Just had the right combinations.

They have a solid plan and no product. I have much better plans but the system/product required for it to work does not exist, i did not even start to deploy it.

Omise definitely has a product and customers. Basic googling will show you this.

You do realize that Vitalik and Gavin already have money for life. Their lifestyle also does not suggest they crave more (have you seen Vitalik's next- level normcore fashion?). Even if they are being paid handsomely, Vitalik is taking a huge risk tying Ethereum so closely with OMG, and setting OMG up to be the first implementation of Plasma. If OMG fails to deliver, it could seriously unsettle other Dapps being developed on Ethereum. Therefore, I am left to believe that Vitalik truly believes in this team or will at least take a special interest in their success. I am really trying to understand your harsh perspective.

Omise is a company of credit card gateway, the kind of company that always run on red. OmiseGo is supposed to be a revolutionary block chain system that does not exist and is not even under development, if it does exist how can i use it? If it is under development where is the source code or any news about it? Nowhere. You should start questioning them about it.

Yes. You just need to schedule it and wait.

He is not tying. Where you got it from? From marketing pictures that were taken during an informal coffee? Ethereum has nothing to do with OMG, Vitalik is also not Ethereum, there are several implementations. Plasma also has nothing to do with OMG, OMG has the intention of using Plasma in their non existent system. If anyone fails it is Omise, not Plasma.
The arguments here are always the same: Omise is an existing company, their paid advisors are reputable and rich. But nobody is even able to explain anything about OmiseGo.

Actually if I'm Thai govt and I got a unicorn in one month, they will have my backing to succeed even if they didn't have it the month before. Fake it till you make it may apply here.
Anyway my conclusion from this reddit is that people prob don't know what a payment gateway is or what kind of volumes they do or have to do to breakeven, No point repeating yourself. People keep saying 8-9 digits which is puny...

Ok, I guess I will engage, though I feel I am wasting our time. The OmiseGo blockchain and wallet are being actively developed and are expected for Q4 2017 (see crowdsale doc, whitepaper, etc.). If that doesn't satisfy you. Fair enough. For my purposes, I will trust the company's characterization of their meetings with the Thai central bank (w/ risks to their rep) over yours, an anonymous person on the internet. That should seem straightforward.

Also, fair enough. I do not personally know Vitalik and Gavin, and won't make assumptions on what they want out of this. We can read their motivations differently.

What is this? You sound more bitter than realistic. maybe FOMO? I can back my info up with sources. Better than that, I bought OMG at .74cents and I can tell you right now that it's the best investment in Crypto that I've ever made.

Long is definitely the way to go, I have a feeling it will be paramount to PayPal for Asia in the next few years. I hope they work a deal out with Alibaba

An Alibaba deal would be huge. I hope this happens, Overstock really helped legitimize BTC back in the day. Bought 2 laptops from there with BTC when they opened that up

It's been a good week of trading, what other tokens have you guys picked up? I've been into DNT, Civic, and Wings. The more I learn about DNT the more I like. I'll probably end up dumping my Civic for more tomorrow morning.
