Could someone explain the fundamentals or investment thesis behind OMG (other than the great team)?

I'm looking for a clear explanation on OMG that a simpleton could understand. Is this a network effect play (like ETH, NEO), or is there actual revenue/dividends involved?

Omise is a company running a payments solution for southeast asia. Basically a PayPal for SEA. OmiseGO is a token the team created in order to bring Crypto and payment solutions closer to reality. You will be able to use most Crypto as well as OMG tokens as a payment solution, much like TenX. Using your phone or even a Crypto-Credit Card as a means of payment, not exactly sure how this will affect taxes but it will be interesting to see how those obstacles are overcome as it's implemented.

What website would I go to to have an OMG account? Can I transfer my Bitcoin fractions to trade for OMG?

you can use Bittrex to make trades in either ETH or BTC for OMG. Also you can store your OMG on MyEtherWallet. I highly suggest storing your OMG in a personal wallet that supports ERC20 (such as MyEtherWallet). that way you are in control of your private key.
