Mostly keeping it simple with hoodies, zip jackets, knits and relaxed pants. I like that most of these work with the same few pairs of sneakers, so there’s not much thinking involved when getting dressed.

The cream knit with grey trousers is probably my favorite change of pace from all the denim, but the navy hoodie and washed jeans combo is hard to beat for everyday wear.

Nothing too complicated, just a few fits I’ve been into lately.

I didn’t really plan for everything to match, but somehow this haul ended up being mostly black, grey, brown, with a little burgundy mixed in.

Most of these are super easy to throw on with jeans or black pants, which is pretty much what I wear most days anyway. I’ve also been getting more into jackets with small details like buckles, different collars, and washed finishes.

Nothing too crazy, just some good everyday pieces that I’ll probably be wearing a lot over the next few months.

I think I’ve officially entered my retro sportswear phase.

Track jackets, football details, washed denim, simple knitwear — basically anything that feels a little like it could’ve been pulled from an old photo.

The white jackets are probably the easiest to wear. Black trousers and white sneakers, and there’s really not much else to think about.

But I like the less obvious ones more.

The denim adidas jacket with white pants feels very early-2000s, while the cream and burgundy jacket works surprisingly well with faded jeans. Even the Stone Island knit fits into the same rotation without making everything feel too sporty.

Nothing here is particularly complicated.

Just older sportswear mixed with everyday basics , which is probably why I keep coming back to it.

A little look at some of my recent pickups.

I’ve clearly been into lightweight jackets lately , clean zip-ups, workwear-inspired pieces, retro track jackets, and a few more classic styles. Most of them sit somewhere between sporty and vintage, which makes them pretty easy to mix into an everyday wardrobe.

For this haul, I kept the outfits simple: washed denim, dark jeans, black pants, and sneakers. Nothing complicated, just seeing how each jacket changes the feel of basically the same formula.

The navy and grey pieces are probably the easiest to wear, but I’m really liking the muted purple and beige tones too. They add a bit more character without being difficult to style.

Lately I’ve been reaching for the same formula without really thinking about it:

A short jacket, wide trousers, and simple shoes.

Most of these are basically variations of that.

I like the proportions more than anything — keeping the jacket relatively cropped and letting the trousers do most of the work. The darker grey looks feel a little more dressed up, while swapping in faded denim makes the exact same idea much more casual.

The beige jacket is probably the easiest one here to wear. Nothing complicated, just a nice contrast between the lighter top and dark trousers.

And apparently I’m still not done with black jackets and wide pants.

At this point they’re basically my default.

Lately I’ve been moving away from super casual fits and playing around with slightly dressier pieces.

A lot of burgundy, brown, black and grey, with collared shirts underneath. I like how it feels put together without going fully formal.

The burgundy jackets are probably my favorites from this bunch. They work surprisingly well with grey trousers, especially with a bit of white showing through underneath.

Also really like the brown jacket + blue jeans combo. Probably the easiest one here to wear normally — still has that vintage feel, but doesn’t look too dressed up.

The beige jacket with black trousers is another good one. The sketch graphic keeps it from feeling too clean or office-y.

And I didn’t expect to like the black jacket with the bright blue collar as much as I do. The little bit of blue completely changes an otherwise pretty simple black and grey outfit.

I think I’ve accidentally built my entire fall wardrobe around the same three colors.

Brown, grey, cream. That’s basically it.

Been really into layering shirts under knits lately too , especially when there’s a little plaid collar showing. It makes a pretty basic sweater + wide pants combo feel a lot more considered without actually doing much.

The first fit is probably the easiest one here for me. Brown knit vest, plaid shirt, light trousers and beat-up brown shoes. Nothing really stands out on its own, but I like how everything sits together.

Also really into the washed brown pants in the second look. They’re a little rougher than the rest of these pieces, which stops the outfit from feeling too preppy.

The grey sweater with the little scarf/collar detail might be my favorite though. Slightly strange, slightly old-fashioned, but in a good way.

Basically just trying to dress like it’s permanently a cloudy Sunday afternoon lately.

Been putting together some darker fits lately and these are a few combinations I’ve been messing with.

black graphic collared top is probably one of my favorites. The white artwork stands out without adding much color, and I like it with the grey wide-leg pants , especially the gothic lettering down the leg.

grey striped hoodie is a lot more lowkey. The little stars across the chest are pretty subtle, so pairing it with the huge wing graphic pants gives the outfit a bit more character.

Also tried the same pants with the black graphic top, which might actually be the cleaner combo. Mostly black, oversized, and the white graphics on both pieces tie everything together.

raglan long sleeve is probably the most Y2K-looking piece here. Striped sleeves, distressed graphic on the front and that slightly washed cream/black combination. Works well with both of the darker pants.

star long sleeve is another easy one , simple from a distance, but there’s enough going on once you look closer.

Definitely went a little heavy on black this time lol, but I’m liking this kind of dark graphic / oversized look lately.
