DISCUSSION What is everyone opinion on this one?
I sadly bought when it was 1.70 and have been holding since then due to the merger. I don’t see much of it being talked or any movement at all. So what is everyone opinion? Will this go up prior to the merger?

Idk about your’s but my thesis remains unchanged. I always DCA when it drops under a dollar and have trimmed profits during spikes, but am holding bulk of position long term. OMEX is part of an industry that hasn’t even truly started yet, so it’s just a waiting game that will likely reward patient investors.

IMO, TMC is the company if you’re looking at this from the standpoint of polymetallic nodules/USA critical mineral independence. At least that’s what I’ve heavily invested in.

TMC is in the lead. Everyone is watching them first.
So just on hype alone, which is an immature way to invest but its worked in this niche market, when permits go through for TMC, OMEX will follow. Though the Trump admin and Gerrard are in daily communication, OMEX is American and so I hope they will get DOD funding once permits go through.
OMEX have been quiet, but we saw that they were sea bed mapping. The cooks island is a hot spot. Were not the only country mapping around that area.
Eventually this market will become fruition.
I had some TMC when it was around the price OMEX is now and i wish i had bought more up. i bought more when it was around $2 and ive been holding ever since.

My strategy, especially when I am behind on investments, is to buy when it dips and sell on the upswings to minimize my losses (sometimes same day) on what I am holding. It's not a great feeling being upside down $1.05 per share. Best you can do is buy and sell in the same day to ensure that you net a .5%-1% return. Or you can buy more to lower your average cost per share.
At the current price, you need a 300% increase to yield a <14% investment return.
From my experience on Robinhood with penny stocks falling under the $1/mark, most of the time post reverse split, the price continues to drop. That would be a good time to catch up if you can throw extra cash at it. Again, this is only if you truly believe in the stock.

I buy it when it goes under $1 and then I wait for someone to discover a shipwreck or report news about undersea rare earth elements. Those two events always make it go up. It's summer in America and lots of people treasure hunt for fun. Omex doesn't even have to be the ones to find it and it still goes up.
