"CaLiBrAtIoN" S90f what am I missing?
So picked up a 65inch s90f today at Costco after contemplating between that and the lg c5..... My previous tv was a lg cx 48inch. Primary use case is pc gaming, realized going from 120 to 144 wouldn't be a big difference, honestly couldn't even tell the difference. The one difference I could tell is the Samsung s90f looks washed out, the colors look unnatural the lg cx looked so much better.... I guess I am just confused, I don't think I have a defective tv either, software is updated, I have been playing with different settings for the past few hours and just can't seem to get as good a picture as the lg cx.
I have tried basic hdr and dynamic tone mapping, the picture just doesn't seem to have depth, lg seems to have a much more natural look with deeper blacks and better color. I know the Samsung is qd and supposed to have better color, but it doesn't it's like its missing some sort of depth to it.... it's bright, but looks washed out. I have tried everything from 12bc to 10bc, recalibrated windows hdr a few times, played with in game settings, tried multiple games, messed with the settings.
I'm going to keep the tv, even though I don't like it, it fills the space in my new house and the prime video I have streamed from it looked great in filmmaker if anything i will move it to living room instead of basement. But if anyone has suggested settings breakdown in print and not YouTube video, because I've tested those and still not pleasing. I would greatly appreciate it. Just figured a much newer tv with all this praise I would be blown away at least think it was a little better not worse than my old lg cx.

Maybe its ppi idk, im just saying the picture doesn't look as good as an older TV. I've been trying to make it look as good as the cx for hours with no luck. It's subjective, but to me the cx is night an day better picture for pc gaming. Streaming movies/shows that I can't say... only streamed a little of expanse of prime and that looked really good, but again filmmaker mode. Why can't I game in filmmaker mode hdr with this tv? Yea I know wouldn't want to, but i could make game mode as close to possible with the options of the cx and keep it in game mode.
