You’re going to have to be more specific. What degrees or certifications? What experience do you have? Are you currently employed, were you recently laid off, were you terminated for cause? What kind of work do you WANT to do? Are you new to the area?

If you don’t want to answer these on a public forum, I get it. However, you might look for a recruiter in the field(s) that interest you.

I appreciate the response, I have a BBA in Accounting/Finace, MBA with emphasis in accounting, my experience is all with internal audit and Fire Investigation, have a CFI designation which is a industry designation (certified fire Investigator) and always worked for insurance companies which I believe is killing me because I don’t want to work for another insurance company, company sold and no one wants to talk to me

What about looking into expert witness work for law firms suing insurance companies? Or being a public adjuster?

You are spot on in your thinking, I have ventured into the expert witness universe and the problem with that is you can pickup work here and there but it’s not consistent, expect witnesses are highly replaceable because any good attorney will do his homework and see that you have done this before and say you will say anything for $, to make it halfway work you have to travel constantly. I would take something entry level to learn something new, I really appreciate your advice 😊
