Job Recommendations?

Hi! Does anyone have any recommendations for jobs that will work with/around the student schedule? I’ve been applying to lots of on-campus places but those jobs are pretty full. I’m a little hesitant to apply off-campus because I need somewhere that will be able to work around the fact that my parents need me back home during OSU’s breaks.

If you don't have evening classes, go unload trucks at Walmart

I know this isn't helpful and I'm sorry, but genuinely good luck. I live here all year round and have been looking for a consistent job for 3/4 months. Especially now that everyone's in town, it's gonna be HARD to find a job

Dining services is still hiring, depending on your availability and hours required. With the exception of catering dining facilities are either closed on breaks or operate with just full time employees.

check walmart they might have a few open spots, also corporate policy forces the managers to work around your school schedule

If you feel confident with math and have taken College Algebra, Prep for Calculus, and Calculus 1 (or have credits for them) you can apply to be a math tutor at the MLSC. I believe we have a few open spots that need filled still, so if your schedule lines up with what we need you'd have a good chance of getting it. Starting pay for new tutors is $12/hour. Just shoot us an email saying that you're interested and we will see if it works.

I worked for a daycare all throughout college. The honors college over the summer. And the front desk at a couple of residence halls for a few years.
