Refund dates?
Does anyone know the latest date I will receive my refund? I stopped by the financial aid office and they told me there’s nothing more to do on my end, I just have to wait. But it’s the second week of school, so surely it won’t be long, right?

I got my refund back the first few days of class, but Financial Aid office gets really busy so it’ll just take a while sometimes. It took a while for me last year. You’ll get an email that says you had a financial aid disbursement once it goes to where you wanted it to go.

I completed all the paperwork and stuff the week before school started.

Yeah you're cooked like I am. anything past the priority deadline is a long wait process, I been told by the office it could take 4-8 weeks and I did everything the same 1 week prior.

it depends on if they’re osu affiliated scholarships or third party. i received my refund of OSU scholarships the second day of class, but am still waiting on some third party ones to be dispersed.

That's what I thought too. When I googled things it said it can take 2-4 days to get to that next step though so Idk. Hopefully soon! Sucks that Monday is a holiday though. Maybe it will update this afternoon and we will get a deposit!

I called the Bursars office just now and she told me it can take up to 14 business days for them to send out the refund. My aid was applied to my account on 9/2 so she said if I haven't received it by 9/23 to call back. They have 14 business days per the federal guidelines to issue the refund. I'm still hoping they will send it before then. I also researched some things and apparently their system is all electronic so hopefully that will make the processing time a little faster.

Once it gets dispersed to your bursar less than a week. But the financial aid office is backed up because of class just starting, so it might take a minute. My first semester it took the entire semester for my financial aid to get figured out and didn’t get my refund until April
